  Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time. The location is steps away to beach access. The beach is very private. Great central location to visit other destinations. I wish the third bedroom had a full bed instead of bunk beds. The queen sofa sleeper was not comfortable, so one of my sons and his wife had to sleep in the bunks, but they were fine with that. The hot tub was great. We had a great time making a few meals on the grill. Everyone in the area was very friendly. The restaurant and pool are a plus. It gives you a resort atmosphere. The staff was very attentive. We had fun swimming in the ocean and saw a few dolphins jumping one day. We took morning walks on the beach every day. We all had a great time!

  We rented the home for the month of February and during my stay I had family visit, including my daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old grandbaby, girlfriends and my sister. Everyone, regardless of age, loved it. There are two great pools less than block away. The lakeside pool has a Grille with great food and service (however hours are limited), toddler pool and hot tub. There is also a fitness and business center in that facility. The oceanside pool has a great view and "adult vibe". The property is in a gated community at the end of a cul de sac. I felt VERY safe. A walkover to the beach is less than a block away. One night we went to the walkover, sat on the bench and watched a SpaceX launch. Very cool! The home is well-provisioned. We spent a LOT of our time on the outdoor deck that had views of the ocean. I think a house may be built next door that could block the views. :-( We had two minor issues while there: one with a TV remote and one with the grill. In both cases, staff were there within an hour with a smile and a fix. I've rented many VRBO properties and can honestly say that the all of the property staff were awesome.

  This home was wonderful! It was exactly as it looked in photos! Home was in a great location with a beach access path right across the culdesac, however, they were damaged in the hurricane and none of them had been repaired except one at the very far end of the condos. Hot tub and pool table was a massive save because as everyone knows this Christmas it was extremely cold everywhere. Our family has been coming to cinnamon beach for years in April and we always stay in the condos. This year with both kids and spouses coming and a new grand baby we opted for a house. It was a wonderful house all in all

  Tropical Hideway did not disappoint. There were only 4 of us and our pet, and the extra space for the children was incredible. All of the furniture was very nice and the beds were quite comfortable. Plenty of towels, even beach towels. We didn't use the hot tub much, but it is nice and was clean. The kitchen is stocked well enough for vacation, as we do not cook on vacation. No dish towels or dish cloths, had to purchase those, but that was no problem. Nice washer and dryer in a really nice laundry room. The property is incredibly clean and well landscaped. Huge balcony across the back was just the perfect place to find a spot in the sun to drink our morning coffee. There is a boardwalk to the beach that is only steps away. I believe we were the only family that used this portion of the beach. Most of the vacationers used the boardwalk at the pools. The beach is covered with coquina shell, which I love. The shell gives the beach an orange tannish color.
  Hence the name, Cinnamon Beach. The pools were immaculate. The little bar and sandwich shop was a really convenient touch, and the staff in this shop were a joy. We rented a golf cart while there, and really enjoyed riding around the community and enjoying the cool breeze. One of the deciding factors for booking this rental was the pool table. Great pool sticks, a weight to suit anyone, good tips; however, the rails are dead. If you shoot pool a lot, you want the table to have good rails. Other than that, this was quite a pleasurable experience. I would book the Tropical Hideaway again.

Management notified us the day of our arrival that the previous renters had left a problem with the jacuzzi. It was taken care of within 24 hours. Our young grandchildren loved the family pool and play area. We enjoyed a wonderful week.

  Tropical Hideaway is a fabulous house. Probably the best location in Cinnamon Beach. At the end of the road with lake & ocean views. It does have a lot of stairs though so that should be a consideration for older folks such as ourselves. It has a dumb waiter but it was disconnected. That would have been helpful in lugging heavy suitcases & groceries up 2 flights of stairs. Other than that , it was a great place. Could see and hear the ocean from the upstairs balcony & pools were very short walk. All in all a fabulous place. Wonderful & quiet neighborhood. Everyone very friendly . Our dog loved it too.
